I'm a girl and I can tell you: I love to have my nails done. However, here in the US, getting a manicure is completely different than in Brazil. There, we go to the hair salon to get manicure or pedicure and here you can go to a nail salon, which is fantastic! You don't hear the sound of the dryer, you can relax, and enjoy having someone pampering you. But, we are used to have a different kind of treatment, the way Brazilian do is more accurate.
So, some friends recommended me to go to a Brazilian Salon in Midtown called The Carlos Lobo Salon. Along with manicure and pedicure, they also offers Brazilian Blow Out and it's absolutely worth it.
